FULLY AUTHORIZED INSPECTION SERVICES Authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) and Insurance companies require an Inspection Certificate to be issued by authorized Fire companies. Safety First is authorized on a wide variety of suppression systems catered for your particular needs. SKILLED TECHNICIANS SYSTEM MAINTENANCE Fire Prevention Systems & Equipment require regular maintenance to assure they remain in compliance with local fire and building codes. Our Technicians are trained to inspect, service and maintain a wide variety of suppression systems and equipment. COMMERCIAL KITCHEN EXPERTS CHEMICAL DISCHARGE NOZZLES The chemical discharge nozzles are located above the cooking appliances as well as in the exhaust canopy, plenum and duct. These location specific nozzles discharge wet chemical in specific spray patterns when the fire system is activated. CHEMICAL STORAGE TANKS The wet chemical is stored either in self-contained pressurized cylinders or at atmospheric pressure with external pressurized cartridges. These cylinders come in a variety of sizes to accommodate all commercial kitchen applications. FIRE SUPPRESSION CHEMICALS The wet chemical is an alkaline solution that saponifies upon contact with vegetable or animal fats. This layer of foam separates the fuel from the fire, stopping the spread and also reducing the temperature of the cooking medium. ACTIVATION MECHANISM The automatic wet chemical fire suppression system has two methods of activation: automatic via temperature sensitive components and manual via physical pull stations.
